Bike Sports Car RacingVehicle Type

The Bike-Sports championship is for Competitors participating in “sports-racing” cars powered by series-production 4-stroke motorcycle engines; this includes two-seater cars and those with a central driving position.

Cars run in classes as follows:-

A:Radical PR6, Stohr DSR & Speads 1001 - 1340cc; Radical SR3 1301-1500cc; others 1301 - 1340cc
B:1201 to 1300cc; Radical SR4 up to 1300cc; Speads & Stohr DSR up to 1000cc
C:Up to 1200cc including original Radical SR4 plus Powertec Kawasaki 1100 & 1200cc; Radical Clubsport not to original specification; excluding Stohr DSR & Speads
D:Radical Clubsport 1100 Kawasaki to original specification; ADR S1000; Global up to 600cc

Bike Sports Car RacingEngine

Any naturally-aspirated series-production 4-stroke motorcycle engine may be used.

Transmission

The gearbox and its ratios must be standard for the engine with a maximum of 6 forward speeds; a reverse gear to MSA regulations must be fitted.

Wheels & Tyres

Free.

Rounds

There are 10 rounds in the 2012 season, all of which are at double-header meetings.

Costs

Registration fee for the 2012 Championship Season is £110.
750 Motor Club membership for 12 months is £56.00 including a joining fee .
