For sale is my much loved Citroen Saxo VTR race car. I built this car from a standard road car for the 2014 season and have raced it very competitively in the 750mc Stock Hatch Championship. The 2016 season was the cars most competitive yet. From 14 races there were 10 pole positions, 4 wins, 8 podiums and two fastest laps. The car lead 47% of all laps completed during the season, more than anyone else. But for a few errors on my part this car would have comfortably won the championship but as it happened, it came a close second. This car makes some very competitive lap times as it is and there is loads of tuning potential left in the car if you wanted to fight at the sharp end of Hot Hatch or Tin Tops, as it is though, it is a championship contender in it's current class.




Spec of the car is:

Engine: Engine is good for 129hp and was re-freshed and re-mapped before the final weekend of 2016. Also comes with the spare engine pictured, this was also built this year and has not been raced yet, it is the same specification as the proven engine in the car. Both have baffled sumps.

ECU: Emerald Standalone ECU with custom loom.

Gearbox: Standard gearbox very strong, also comes with a spare.

Engine Mounts: Vibratechnics race mounts all round, only fitted before the final round of the season.

Exhaust: Simpson Downpipe, sports CAT and straight through rear silencer, gets through sound test every time.

Chassis / Bodywork: Professionally installed "Custom Cages" rollcage, welded in 6 point cage with additional legs to the front suspension turrets. Bodyshell is pretty good, a few dents / scrapes in the panels as has to be expected - it has been raced.

Suspension: Gaz single point adjustable suspension - setup is perfect - car virtually goes round corners by itself. Comes with a complete set of 4 dampers.

Brakes: Standard calipers all round, fronts new for 2016. Braided flex lines, disks and pads were new for final weekend of year.

Wheels and Tyres: Will come with 10 wheels, all with tyres on. 4 tyres are new never used, 2 have done a qualifying and a race, the other 4 are worn.

Fuel system: Custom tank 20L with two pumps and a swirl pot - never has fuel surge even on near empty.

Safety Gear: Brand new Corbeau seat for 2016, new belts for 2016, extinguisher is good to go for 2017

Other: New driveshafts for 2016, new wheel bearings all round for 2016
