This car is a purpose build Ma7Da for the new series with the 750 Motor Club and not a Locost chassis that has been upgraded to suit. This car was designed and built by the master race car magician Richard Bradley and was also looked after by him until he decided to hang up his racing boots and has since been looked after by TMC Race Engineering.
When Matt at TMC worked on this chassis for the first time and completed the corner weighting he commented on how he has never (until this chassis) come across a race car that he was able to achieve near perfect weight distribution.
The car is very competitive and in the right hands will be a front runner again. It is extremely forgiving to drive and up until this year held the Ma7Da lap record at Brands Hatch with me who is an ‘ok’ driver.
If you would like to start racing in the Ma7Da series (and why wouldn’t you) then this is the perfect way to start. The car has just had a fresh engine and loom installed. There is a spare engine (still with TMC near Bristol) that has a new water pump and timing kit installed and ready to drop in if needed.
I also have a twin axel trailer available that is a bespoke build with a storage box built in that is very useful. The trailer is very light weight and has Ford Laser wheels (4 including a spare) and will also have 4 new tyres for the trailer if wanted.
