2017 Tegiwa M3 Cup Championship

Fri 25 Nov 2016

We are delighted to announce that the Tegiwa M3 Cup has gained MSA Championship status for the 2017 season.

The formula has seen steadily increasing registration and entry numbers throughout 2016, with drivers ranging from circuit novices to experienced club racers seeking a new challenge.

Like many formulae, the M3 Cup runs as a one-make formula with cost controlled parts and regulations, yet benefiting significantly from the heightened performance of a GT-esque donor vehicle in the form of the E46 BMW M3.

Adding to the strong grid numbers on show towards the end of 2016, the formula now welcomes a host of newly confirmed drivers for 2017, one of whom will go on to be the inaugural Tegiwa M3 Cup Champion.

The calendar will be released shortly, however the 2017 Tegiwa M3 Cup Championship will utilise the same time and cost-efficient format of seven double-header weekends hosting a total of 14 rounds to the new - points-scoring - season.
