DEE & TORA team up for 750MC Endurance Race

Wed 29 Jul 2015

DEE-Ltd are excited to announce their "virtual" participation in the forthcoming 750 Motor Club Summer endurance cup, taking place on the 1st August at Snetterton circuit near Norwich. DEE-Ltd will be fielding a team of three drivers, competing in real time using a full six degree of freedom race simulator, which will enable the drivers to drive on a faithfully recreated digital model of the MSV Snetterton 200 course, in a virtual car that will adhere to the same technical regulations that the real cars competing in the event have to comply with.

"This is a great opportunity for us to showcase how realistic the full motion simulator experience really is now", commented DEE’s Simulation Manager, Nathan Poole. "The combination of cutting edge gaming graphics allied with a full motion platform developed for professional motorsports use is a compelling experience, and we hope to have a bit of fun with it along the way!" continued Poole.

DEE-Ltd are the European distributors of the WHR MP06 motion platform, which uses the latest commercial gaming software such as Project Cars and Asseto Corse to provide incredibly realistic track and car graphics, which are in turn enhanced by the clever motion platform which provides the driver with accurate physical feedback driving cues.

"Until now this level of fidelity in racing simulators has only been available to F1 teams or those with F1 team sized budgets" continued Poole, "The MP06 is a game changer in that it brings full motion platform technology within the grasp of ordinary mortals, and we are looking forward to competing alongside the regular competitors of the 750 Motor Club at Snetterton in August."
