2024 Competition Fees

Wed 20 Dec 2023

As has already been published, please note that on the 22nd January, 750 Motor Club will be opening registration for 2024 series and championships, with race entry opening on the 5th of February.

Like all businesses during the past few years, the Club has experienced significant inflationary pressures from which we have done our best to protect members. At some venues circuit hire has risen by as much as 56% in the past eight years, with entry fees only increasing by 16% in the same period. Rising costs are something that we continue to face going into 2024 with venue hire, which represents by far and away our biggest expenditure, increasing from anywhere between 3% and 19% for 2024.

As a result of this, we will be increasing registration fees by £5 and race entry fees will increase by approximately 5% depending on venue. Another change will be in the 750MC membership fee structure. We have always aimed to charge a minimal membership fee and our £30 rate has been the lowest in the industry by a significant margin for many years. However, with increased administrative expenses, a larger HQ team working on your behalf and a desire to continue to provide member benefits such as Live Streamed events and investment in more promotion and an upgraded online entry system, we are updating our membership fee structure.

From the 1st of January 2024, non-racing members (and those joining purely to compete in the Birkett Relay race) will continue to pay just £30 for a ‘Standard Membership.’ Those joining or renewing memberships to participate in any 750MC-administered series or championships will now pay £95 per year for a ‘Racing Membership’ which is more in line with other racing clubs yet continues to represent the best value in the market.

Existing memberships – which always run for 12 months from your date of commencement - will be treated as ‘Racing’ until the date of renewal. This change should go a long way to ensure the long-term stability of the Club and as you will understand, will allow 750MC to continue to provide competitive and affordable circuit racing for many years to come.
