MG Car Club's Annual Kimber Classic Trial - 9th April 2016
Tue 26 Jan 2016
First held in 1936, Once again the MG Car Club South West Centre
will be holding their annual Kimber Classic Trial on Saturday 9th April 2016 with as many pre-1975 cars as possible, although MG cars can be of any age.
The event takes in some original sections but is passable with minor preparation for road going cars. The idea these days is to provide a 90 mile course over 12 sections with a lunch break (at a well appointed pub) and for those who wish to stay, an evening dinner at the base at Lanes Hotel in West Coker Nr Yeovil. The event commences at West Coker, near Yeovil and finishes near Castle Carey. The trial is not a car breaker but does give a flavour of the earlier days of trialling.
The SW Centre of the MGCC would like to invite 750 Motor Club members to take part. No bikes or 4x4s please, just any classics of the golden era. Please follow this link
for any more information.
