Locost for sale. Due to a change in personal circumstances (which I will explain if anyone is interested in the car). I now have for sale my very well prepared Locost. It's ready to race. If anyone is interested please do contact me.
A little history on it. Previously this was Jack Coveney's car and has a very credible race history with several race wins and podium finishes with Jack and its previous owner. I bought it earlier this year. It has been professionally maintained by race engineer Stephens Hills and continues to be under his care. I intended to compete in the 2016 season, but a change in personal circumstances (which I will explain if need be) means the car is now up for sale.
Stephen Hills has just given it the winter check. It's only done 4-testing sessions this year (2015). But we did a thorough engine strip & re-build and overall winter check anyway. Other than the crank being re-ground, no other work was needed. The engine is in great shape having had a very thorough engine re-build by Brian Randall in June 2014 (www.banderandall.co.uk). We also overhauled the rear shock absorbers this month and fitted a removable second seat.
The car will come with some spares, including a standard engine and a 3.9 diff (with no flange). The car also has a second set of wheel and tyres.
This car is just how it should be and I am very pleased with it. It can be sold with or without the trailer which is a twin axle Brian James type (complete with wheel rack). If anyone is interested please do message me or call me on 07989 944997.
