This is a reliable and race ready car which is a lot of fun to drive. It was built by Andy Waters of AW Tracksport in 2018 and has been run in TDT occasionally since then although it should also be the correct spec for the 750MC MR2 championship. It had a new engine fitted by Rogue Motorsport in 2019 after the initial engine overheated and has run faultlessly since. We have overhauled the brake caliper seals / pistons and new drop links in early 2020. It had a fresh suspension set-up put on it at Brands in May 2021 and we got it within a second of the MR2 lap record by the end of the day. It comes with a spare set of wheels and tyres.
The seat belts are good until 2024 and the fire extinguisher is recently serviced.
It also comes with a spare (Japanese) gearbox so you can decide which one to run – UK or Jap. It has a lightweight fibreglass boot lid fitted and we bought a lightweight fibre glass front bonnet too although the original is currently still fitted. The car is in good race condition with a few marks here and there but check out the photos or better still, come and view. Starts on the button and runs very strongly.
We are selling because we now have a new race car and limited space to store both.
