I have raced this car for the last three seasons with no expense spared.
It was meticulously built by Scott and Ian Mittell; http://www.mittell-cars.com/
Scott won two consecutive Locost Championships with the car.
2016 winning 5 races with 8 podiums, from 13 finishes.
2017 winning 6 races with 8 podiums, from 12 finishes. Finishing 2nd in the championship without contesting all rounds.
Unfortunately 2018 hasn’t been so successful, my previous team failed to correctly prepare/refresh the car in preparation for the season hence some poor results at the start of the year. I subsequently moved to Team Sellars Racing [TSR] who at great expense rectified all issues and got the car back in race winning shape. I can supply invoices for circa £4k detailing the work. For all intents and purposes it’s a brand new car.
Testament to TSRs work at the last race meeting at Cadwell Park on 28th July 2018 it qualified on pole, won race one and came second in race two.

The car is fully refreshed and ready for a full seasons racing. Its only competed at Cadwell since being fully rebuilt to make sure the car was all sorted before it was listed for sale.
The car had a complete refresh, items include:
Brand new rebuilt engine, showing the most BHP TSR have seen on their rolling road for a Locost engine. Can supply dyno result to buyer.
Reconditioned 4.1 diff.
Repainted in January 2018- some gravel rash in places occurred since.
Hard wired transponder, circa £300.
New large extinguisher (£300) this year, so meets regulations post 2021.
Seat belts replaced last year, many years in date.
New aluminum radiator fitted last month.
Brand new wet tyres on rims bought this year, only just scrubbed in.
Re-valved dampers in April 2018 (£380).
I have a spare engine, built to same spec and at same time as the race engine available separately at £2500.
The car is very light, I am around 80kg in race gear and run with 16kg of ballast and a full tank of fuel so will allow the larger driver to be on the minimum weight limit.
As to corner weighting the car is within 1kg across both axels with me in it, perfectly balanced.
Car it currently stored, maintained and run at meetings by TSR. They are based at PE20 3QX. I am sure they would be very willing to continue to run the car for the new owner. They come highly recommended.
I am far from the best driver, the car is very good and capable of winning races in a very average pair of hands. Please note this car is fully refreshed and ready to go for an entire season, not like many other cars out there. Im sure if you ask anyone in the Locost paddock they will speak very highly of the car and its well known to be one of the quickest.
