I have reluctantly decided to sell my Locost racer, I bought this car and raced for a couple of seasons with the 750 club. It was my first experience of track racing, and was to prove to be a fantastic time. With varying results, a couple of highlights were a 6th in my 3rd race, and qualifying 3rd for a wet race, but above all great fun, and the car is clearly capable. The car was bought from a well respected racing family in Scotland who successfully raced it for several years. Since I have owned it I have made some improvements, one of which was a complete professional respray, and an engine refresh done by TSR. Since then I have completed 2 races and a track day, so plenty of life still in the engine,.
I started getting the car ready to race again, and have put a new battery and exhaust on it, tyres are good, etc so with a bit of fettling it’s ready to go racing, but unfortunately circumstances have changed and I no longer can find the time. The car is based in Southeast Cornwall.
I am looking for offers around £4900.
This is a lot of fun for not a lot of money, in a great club with great people, I will be sad to see the car go, but it needs to be used.
