750 Formula Championship car - Scholar 983.
Unique car that was built about 12 years ago initially, then rebuilt between about 2009 and 2012 with a plan to race it with the 750 formula.
Only for sale due to other racing commitments.
The car will need recommissioning but other than that and a rolling road tune is mechanically ready.
It does need the bodywork finishing as the bonnet currently is just sat on and not fastened down. I had plans to strengthen a couple of areas that seemed a bit flimsy but other than that the rest of the body is all fastened to the car.
It’s got a carbon fibre rear wing.
It’s got the Fiat engine which was built brand new to the series spec.
Reliant gearbox again rebuilt
Bmc rear axle (midget,sprite,A35 ect) with disc brake conversion, limited slip diff and strong halfshafts.
Double wishbone coilover front suspension with custom uprights and 4 pot callipers on big front discs. (Barely fit in a 13” wheel)
Coilover suspension on the back with a 6 link design connecting the rear axle.
Front and rear diffuser connected with a honeycomb flat floor.
Biased pedalbox and adjustable steering column.
Custom 3 piece wheels (only on offer if full price paid)
