750 Motor Club Bulletin Update

Mon 16 Mar 2015

Members should have recieved the belated February issue of the 750 Motor Club Bulletin by now. Those who have already received their copy will have read that the Editor, Marcus Pye, has decided to step down from the role and will be involved in the production of one further issue. On behalf of the Board of the Directors, I would like to thank Marcus for his work on the Bulletin over the last 12 months or so.

The Board have already taken steps to secure a replacement for Marcus, and I am delighted to announce that Kevin Turner has agreed to take up the role. Kevin is an experienced motorsport journalist, with particular interests in Club and Historic motorsport. From writing for the popular Formula Ford website FF1600.co.uk, Kevin moved to a staff role at Autosport where, for some time, he headed up the Club Autosport pages before progressing through the ranks. More recently, he has taken over as Editor of sister publication Motorsport News, and we are pleased that he will take on a similar role for our Club magazine. Kevin will be making contact with regular contributors soon, and hopes to attend some events during the course of the year, when his other commitments allow. I trust you will join me in welcoming Kevin to the role.

Some of the feedback we have received, quite understandably, is that members like to know when they can expect their copy of the Bulletin to arrive, and the date by which copy must be submitted to be considered for inclusion. A list of these dates for the balance of 2015 will be posted on the website soon, but expect publication to be approximately once every two months, although gaps may be slightly irregular to allow an even balance of content throughout the year.

Note that the e-mail address for the Bulletin Editor remains unchanged: editor@750mc.co.uk.
