Statement regarding the 22/23 June meeting at Silverstone National

Sat 09 Mar 2019

The 750 Motor Club regretfully informs competitors that the two-day meeting at Silverstone National on the 22nd / 23rd of June has been cancelled due to the sudden announcement of essential track maintenance work. This unprecedented situation presents the Club with an extremely challenging logistical and scheduling problem; however, the Club is in dialogue with both Motorsport UK and Silverstone, in addition to other venues in order to try and find suitable solutions for affected competitors.

The 750 Motor Club would appreciate patience from members at this time until an announcement with regard to whether alternative dates can be made available.

Stuart Pringle, Managing Director of Silverstone Circuits Ltd said; “Silverstone Circuits Limited is extremely sorry for the cancellation of the 750 Motor Club event in June. This is due to essential track maintenance. We will work with the Club to find a suitable alternative date later in the year that accommodates 750MC members’ aspirations for their racing. Thank you for your understanding with this matter and we look forward to confirming the new date as soon as possible.”
